Boarding and Training
Full board and training: $1,800/month
Includes stall board, private turnout, highest quality feed, coastal and alfalfa hay, and training 4-5x per week!
Consignment Program:
We offer a few different options:
1) $1,400/month with 12% commission
This is our standard, middle ground option. Includes stall board, private turnout, highest quality feed, coastal and alfalfa hay, and training 4-5x per week. Plus high quality media and marketing.
2) $1,800/month with 10% commission
Includes the same as above, just a higher upfront to lower the final commission.
3) $1,000/month with 20% commission
**Full set of x-rays including back/neck required for option 3 consignment price**
Lessons and training:
$65/private lesson
2 lessons per week: $480/month
3 lessons or training rides per week: $700/month
4 lessons or training rides per week: $880/month
Young Horse Development Program (unstarted horses): $2,000/month
Generally recommended as a 2-3 month program
First month:
Focus on creating a well rounded individual
*Correct and respectful leading
*Grooming and bathing
*Standing tied and cross tied
*Lunging respectfully on the line with vocal cues
*Tacking and untacking
*Desensitizing work
*Understanding the bit and contact
*Ground driving
*Standing for mounting/dismounting
*Intro to clippers
*Intro to free jumping
Second month:
*Primarily focuses on riding in the round pen
*Walk/trot/canter with a good whoa and learning steering
*Start riding in the arena
*Build confidence and have fun with some free jumping exercises
*Work on trailer loading and unloading
Third month:
*Primarily focuses on finessing the riding in the arena
*Focuses on the places where the horses are weak
*If ready/proper age, can start over fences
*Start hacking out of the arena
*Start working towards the longer term goals set for the horse
